Spring 2010

With all the snowy weather we've had in Victoria this past month it's nice to know that we can stay toasty warm at home. We had a wonderful Christmas with quite a few guests from Church with us to share our day.

Christmas at Home

Just before Christmas we went to Butchart Gardens to see the lights. There is a "twelve days of Christmas" theme through the gardens and they always look lovely. This year it was especially beautiful though because snow had fallen on the lights and so the coloured light was diffused through the snow making a very special effect. It was also really cold and we enjoyed the frozen fountains with their crazy ice sculptures. Back at the boar there was carolling and a play in the Blue Poppy restaurant. We topped all this off with a hot chocolate in the cafe.
