Church

There is a lot to tell you about church. My maternal grandfather was a Methodist minister, and we went to a Methodist church when I was young. I became interested in the Anglican church though when I was a teenager mostly because of the excellent youth group at the time in my local Anglican church, St. George's in Deal.

When I went to university, I stayed with the Anglican church, and in Vancouver, we found a wonderful church: St. John's Shaughnessy, where we worshipped for many years.

It is my fervent belief that one needs to come to terms with God, the Creator, as a matter of utmost importance in life. It is not easy to come to an understanding of the love of God, expressed in his kindness to us in Jesus, but if you do, you will find an absolutely glorious treasure that surpasses everything else in life.

My wife became a Christian at university, and we are both now attending All Saints of Alaska eastern Orthodox church in Victoria.
